Seecafe Italiano in Hanau

I would give 10 stars for the location alone. Staff was disinterested, except for the one who led us to the table. I paid € 17 for pasta and water and the pasta was really really bad. When we wanted to pay we were asked if it was tasty, if a plate is still full it explains itself. Of course I said it. Very kindly asked if you would try it yourself, that what they serve ... It's a shame, I'll never be back. The music was also pretty loud, by the way. You couldn't even talk properly.

Unfortunately, the See Cafe has totally lost its quality. Very unfriendly waiters. Our table wasn't ready at the reserved time. When it was finally free we had to ask to wipe it dry after only wiping it with a damp cloth. No trace of disinfection. Neither about distance rules. The table next to us was just 10 cm away. After we asked the waiter that the distance was not being kept, he simply pushed our table 15 cm further down the aisle. Apparently the greed for profit is more important to the See Cafe than the health and well-being of its guests. We were there very often, but that was the last time. Too bad.

Super expensive place. 6.50 for 75cl water and 3.50 for 30cl coke. Rip off.

Great location, very good and varied food and an Italian team who obviously enjoy their work. The focus here is on the guest! We always feel comfortable and in good hands here.

Dear Sir or Madam, I am writing to you regarding my visit to the Seecafe on Saturday October 10th. There were three of us on the road, and we drove from Wächtersbach to Hanau just to have dinner in the Seecafé. Unfortunately, our appointment was so spontaneous that we hadn't made a reservation beforehand. As we noticed right away, it was pretty full. However, we still wanted to try to find a place because we were only three people and had made a longer journey. On the terrace we were then caught by a lady: small brunette and with glasses (presumably the manager). We stood on the terrace, the lady complained loudly that we were in the way, and what occurs to us, that we expect to get a table without a reservation, on a Saturday evening. Of course we are aware that a reservation is always an advantage, but you should also be flexible for spontaneous guests because not everyone can plan in advance. We would not have minded if we had waited a short moment. It's a shame that paying guests is treated like this. We drove here full of anticipation and then back totally angry. I assume that the elderly lady has a managerial position (at least I had this impression) but the lady should be trained a bit about how guests and customers treat and bond, maybe she doesn't have this expertise either. I also wanted to let them know that we would not block a table with a coffee for hours if there were guests. We like to spend more money on good food. Hope you take my criticism to heart. Great value for money. Pizza was tasty, food was on the table quickly even though it was very busy. You can definitely recommend it.

Breakfast was ok. Very tasty bread! Maybe 1-2 euros too expensive for the offer. Nevertheless, many people can find space here. Under the name seecafe one imagines something more idyllic. The café is located in the middle of a retail park. The service staff were very friendly and courteous.

Male waiter wearing the mask on his chin. While the women adhered to the Corona rules, 2 male colleagues had the brand under their noses or even on their chins, so they came to our table. Even a twofold reference to this only led to the correct putting on of the mask for a short time. 1 minute later it was under my nose again.

Tables were neither disinfected nor cleaned, ordered food came to our table quite quickly, but unfortunately not at all as we expected. It's a shame that the sea coffee has so decreased in quality. A pizza was ordered that was unfortunately not fully baked, spaghetti did not come as requested. Were taken back without having eaten a spoon - we still had to pay. Very customer unfriendly We wouldn't recommend it to anyone anymore

Flair like a day's vacation. The lake and the fountain in the middle or then the water features around. The food is very tasty and there is something for every taste. Staff very nice. So after shopping or just like that.

The food tasted great, but the waiter, whose name starts with G (with glasses), was just extremely unfriendly and definitely missed his job. He brought wrong drinks several times and didn't even apologize for them. We had to call him several times so that we could order and he poked his mouth soo that we lost our appetite. At first we thought that he was in a bad mood (which can be, because we are all human) but behind us there were probably friends of his, whom he served with full passion. Please choose your staff better.

Pizza was delicious. So much for the positive. Unfortunately, the staff is not particularly keen and gives the impression that they are not in the mood for anything. Unfortunately, courtesy is also a problem. Tables are only wiped with a damp cloth when requested, disinfection does not take place. In addition, there are signs that indicate that mouth and nose protection are worn, but the audience is not interested and the staff is not interested. Guest data should be submitted online and shown to the waitress, but nobody wanted to see ... No wonder that HU is currently a Covid-19 hotspot. We're not going there anymore. Too bad.

Can now understand the negative reviews well. Dirty tables, nothing is disinfected. One is hardly noticed by the waitress, empty plates are not cleared away, several waitresses who only serve and should not or cannot take orders. Drinks, if you can order them because nobody is coming, are served warm, the beer stale. It's a shame because the food is good.

Pizza is huge and good. Noodles were okay. The tables and chairs weren't that clean. The breakfast buffet is great and highly recommended.

Very, very unfriendly .... even fresh and clean ........ poor service. They don't even deserve 1 star. Very expensive prices ...... DON'T RECOMMEND IT. NO HYGIENE RULES .... NO CORONA SPACE ... Very high volume you can hardly understand your own word. Had ordered ice cream by the time the order came, the ice cream had melted. I went there a second time last night for the love of my family .... but the cheekiness of one of the waitresses meant we got up again after 5 minutes and were gone. Will definitely not go there again !!!

Catastrophic conditions! At all entrances and exits you hang up signs that masks are compulsory and you have to wear them until you arrive at the table - almost no one sticks to them. It's really sad that not even your own employees adhere to the mask requirement. That the employees do not observe the Corona rules of conduct is also an absolute no-go! So much for that. Let's get to service: after arriving at the site, the drinks are prepared relatively quickly. These are also served quickly and the food order is taken immediately. The food also arrives promptly. Until then everything is fine. Plates of the starter are empty - about 5 service staff walk past the table and look at the plates. None of the waitresses think it necessary to clear the table. After about 20 minutes, the table is cleared in four stages. After the main course it took even longer to clear up. The service staff obviously does not notice that the glasses are empty - if we had not been able to stand the staff "running" past, we would have sat on the dry for an hour. That was definitely our last visit with you!

I love it....

Wonderful ambience, especially in the evening and in winter. The food is varied and delicious. Breakfast is bombastic ? it is typically Italian in style and is an open buffet. Nice to sit and relax.

very cozy place, i recommend everyone in hanau area and other countries to come and eat here! very good pizza, very friendly staff and came to ask if everything was alright. shame about the 5 stars I would have put many more! ❤

I was there for the first time yesterday and I am thrilled. The food is very tasty and the price-performance ratio is right too. The staff is super friendly and courteous. Although something more was going on, we didn't have to wait long for our drinks and food. Kudos to the service and the kitchen. Always my pleasure!

Good staff hear where very friendly and helpful finding a spot inside last minute. Milk shake and white hot choc was delicious and the pizza we had was pretty good too . This is a big restaurant and has lots of people coming and going or at least when we where there and the staff seem to get everyone sorted. If you enjoy a all you can eat drop by hear of a Sunday morning and enjoy there buffet breakfast. They also have a small ice ring out front in the winter if you are hear which is great if you have kids .

Good service and tasty desserts

The server was very nice and displayed customer service skills. The manager on the contrary needs to go back to school. She was very unprofessional in the way she tried to resolve an issue which arose by us not eating the breakfast buffet and only having coffee instead. Being accused of freeloading the buffet by the manager does not sit very well with an honest customer in particular not when everybody around us could hear her getting loud with us. We will never go back there that's for sure!!!
